In the sixth season of "The Good Wife", Alicia was speculated to file for divorce with her husband Peter and fans Zach will still be seen in the series.

Last season finale of "The Good Wife" left the fans with a cliffhanger episode with Eli Gould suggesting that Alicia should State's Attorney after she sends her son Zach for the summer internship. Meanwehile, Diane decided to join Florrick/Agos firm after Louis Canning said that he will end Lockhart/Gardner.

As predicted by the show's creators Robert and Michelle King, viewers will mull over Alicia's decision, which will dictate the course of the plot in the upcoming season of the CBS legal drama. Will Alicia divorce her husband Peter Florrick and end their already messed up marriage?

Latin Times predicted that Alicia and Peter will end their marriage as Peter already has his eyes on his intern while Alicia might choose to contest his husband at the State's Attorney elections.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that Zach Florrick confirmed will return to the series after his mother sends him away for his summer internship. Hollywood Hills reported that Zach Florrick (Graham Phillips) will still be part of the cast. However, it is still unconfirmed whether the character will be a series regular.

It is expected that more plot twists will unfold in the season 6 of "The Good Wife". Showrunner Robert King hinted that next season will pick up where the series left off. He assured viewers that the show will have "more serialized storytelling. We're taking what we thought worked in Season 5 and seeing if we can make that stuff do something different in Season 6."

Reports also said that the sixth season will be split in half as the first 11 episodes then the show will be aired in fall at CBS. Then, the series will go in hiatus for a few months before the airing of the next 11 episodes.
