Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) will return to Central City in the upcoming episode of "The Flash," but he will not be the same superhero who saved the city back in the first half of season 2.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Ronnie will be resurrected as the supervillain Deathstorm and viewers will see him in Earth 2, when Barry (Grant Gustin) and his team travels to the other world in season 2B. Amell's was one of characters who died a hero. Fans have been asking The CW to revive him. They will be horrified to learn, however, that when Ronnie does return, he will team up with Killer Frost aka Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) to take down Barry.

The CW's version of Deathstorm is going to be different from the comics. In the comic book, the first Firestorm was brought back to life as a member of the Black Lantern Corps during the Blackest Night. He was able to revert back to his heroic self, but when he got separated from the gang, he developed a different persona that became known as the Deathstorm.

In the series, the name Deathstorm is going to be used to denote the evil version of Firestorm who is living in Earth 2. He is married to Killer Frost. The promo for the upcoming episode gives a glimpse to fans of Caitlin when she transforms to become the villain. In the clip, she is sporting snow-white hair and black make-up while wearing a tight black suit. She then drawls the line, "It's so much more fun to be bad."

In the comic books, Firestorm is the only one who can provide Killer Frost the warmth that she needs to survive. Hers is the power to absorb heat from external sources and convert them into cold waves. When the series returns for season 2B, the pair is expected to make Barry's life a lot difficult.

"The Flash" will return on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
