A lot of people are still waiting for the return of "The Blacklist" for its fourth season. A lot of rumors claim that Red (James Spader) will get deliverance. However, speculations also say that Katarina Rostova (Lotte Verbeek) will not be returning to the series.

However, the latter rumor has been debunked, since the Parent Herald reports that Verbeek has confirmed her return to the series, aiming to contribute more for the fourth season of "The Blacklist." Also, this new season is expected to explain Red's character in greater detail, which will also shed more light on his behavior, which was seen as something that sometimes caused issues. Furthermore, Red is also expected to receive redemption sometime in the fourth season.

After all, a lot of fans are curious about Red, since he is considered to be one of the most mysterious characters in the series, and his relationship between Liz (played by Megan Boone) proves to be a deeper mystery still, despite the fact that viewers have seen both for the past three seasons.

Furthermore, Jon Bokenkamp, the creator and the showrunner of "Blacklist" told Digital Trends in an interview that the characters of this series will be stranger, more unique, and certainly more dangerous as fans have ever seen in the new season. He even went so far as to say that Red is like a Chameleon who will keep on changing colors.

Also, the same interview says that Bokenkamp summarizes "Blacklist" season 4 as a rollercoaster. Expanding this, he said that it will be an emotional rollercoaster that could induce adrenaline rush. After all, everyone has worked together closely andn as such had become a sort of a family, so it would be interesting to see how they will move on from there.

The fourth season of "The Blacklist" will premiere on Sept. 22 on NBC.
