Trouble is brewing between Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Jimmy (Mehcad Brooks) in the upcoming episode for the hit CBS series "Supergirl." After their misunderstanding about Adam (Blake Jenner), this time, their clash will be about their work for the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO).

In "Truth, Justice and the American Way," Hollywood Hills reports that the BFFs will not see eye to eye with certain methods of the DEO. After her harrowing ordeal with the parasitic alien last episode, Kara must still be feeling raw. She had in her grasp the life that she should have had in Krypton with her parents, only to learn that it was just a dream. To further aggravate her mood, Cat (Calista Flockhart) has hired a new assistant, and she and Kara will not hit it off.

Still disappointed with Kara for breaking her son's heart, Cat may be wanting the younger woman to suffer a bit. Getting someone who can potentially take over Kara's position in CatCo fits Cat's style of demeaning her assistant.

Kara will soon learn how competitive Siobhan (guest star Italia Ricci) is. No matter what she does, the new girl is always a step ahead of her. If Kara is not careful, she will soon find herself jobless. How will she handle all these issues all at once, especially as her alter ego, Supergirl, will be facing a new villain?

According the synopsis, Supergirl will come face-to-face with Master Jailer (Jeff Branson), a deadly foe who has developed a perverse taste for tracking down and executing Kryptonians who escaped from Fort Rozz. Although hunting the said prisoners is Kara's job, she will find Master Jailer's method too barbaric for her taste. He will also dislike having Supergirl trying to block his every move. Who will win between the two?

"Supergirl" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
