The hit all-stars fighting game from Nintendo, "Super Smash Bros," will be released for a Switch version in 2018 as part of the company's game lineup for that year.

Mario, Luigi, Princes Peach, Link, Princess Zelda, and Samus will be making their debut for the Nintendo Switch come 2018. With this year's release of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," "Splatoon 2," and "Super Mario Odyssey," Switch users are already too happy with the lineup of games from Nintendo.

To end 2017 fashionably, "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" will be released by December with a Collector's Edition bundle. These title releases alone are telling fans that a 2018 release of their favorite Nintendo fighting game is actually a good thing for both the company and its patrons, since it would spell another good year of gaming.

The "Super Smash Bros" game series have been gracing the gaming world since the days of N64 down to the GameCube, Wii, Wii U, and the 3DS. A Switch version of the game will be a very smart move from Nintendo since the handheld-slash-tabletop console is getting exceptional reception from the gaming community. Whether the game will be a deluxe re-release of the "Super Smash Bros 4" or an entirely new title game is still yet to be announced by Nintendo.

Since "Mario Kart 8" – originally released for Wii U back in 2014 – the Switch version of the game was called "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe". Fans are seeing a pattern after "Pokken Tournament" followed suit with last month's release on the Switch.

Game reviewers said that regardless of the gameplay, a "Super Smash Bros" game on the Switch is a welcoming addition to its games library. However, fans are asking Nintendo to bring back the story mode for the Switch version since it offers a change-of-pace when all the brawling gets tiresome.

"Metroid Prime 4" is also scheduled to release on the Switch by 2018.
