As fans inch closer to the highly anticipated release of the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," spoilers and promotional images continue to trickle in. From each of those, morsels of details about the much-awaited film come to light.

Just recently, Latino Review got their hands on trading cards for the movie. These cards, picked up by Comic Book Movie, hav pictures of the characters and the respective factions these certain characters serve. As expected, the movie's big bad Kylo Ren is listed as a Sith.

Finn, who is another new character to look forward to in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," is listed as a Rebel. Interestingly, Rey is listed both a Rebel and a Jedi, which trailers and spoilers did not broach at all.

This is quite a shock, needless to say. This is because Finn is the one expected to emerge as a Jedi because he is the one often seen wielding a lightsaber in teasers and trailers. It remains to be seen how accurate these trading cards are, but fans hope more info about Rey and Finn's background emerges before the movie comes out.

In other related news, it was announced via the official Star Wars website that books inspired by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be released on Dec. 18, the same day that the movie will hit the silver screen.

These books, as per the announcement, will tell stories the movie can't. With these, fans will get to know more about the art in the film and how the weapons and the crafts used by different blocs of the galaxies are being made. A visual dictionary and a sticker book will also be made available.

"Familiar relics and ships from the film like Luke's lightsaber and the Millennium Falcon will also be examined in closer detail," the website teased. A companion book called "Star Wars; Before the Awakening" will be released as well for those who want to know more about Rey, Finn and Poe.
