Despite the depressing and the ostensibly irreversible fate of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," he is still expected to be part of "Star Wars Episode 8."

Many fans are unable to move on from the death of the iconic character. The smuggler turned rebel hero was killed by his own son, Ben Solo, who has taken the persona of the evil Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

The fan-favorite character was stabbed in the heart with a lightsaber and then fell into the pits of the Starkiller Base, which exploded not long after. Despite this, many are still under the impression that Han Solo will be back in "Star Wars Episode 8."

However, this may not be the case. If he will be involved in the next film, it might be in the form of a funeral, as hinted by cast member Carrie Fisher, who plays General Leia.

This is what she let slip during the Star Wars Celebration, although she was quick to steer clear of any more questions after she let the cat out of the bag about this possible intimate family scene in "Star Wars Episode 8."

As far as surviving the stab and the fall, especially with the Starkiller Base blown to pieces moments after his death, the chances of Han Solo living through all that is low.

In other related news, YouTuber Mike Zeroh, who is known for his insider knowledge and predictions about anything "Star Wars," claims that "Star Wars Episode 8" will showcase how strong Luke Skywalker has become.

He claims that there will be a bigger and much more dangerous Starkiller Base in the upcoming film and that Luke will singlehandedly take down the ship using his Force.

If this will be the case in "Star Wars Episode 8," the Jedi Master has certainly reached an unprecedented level of power that fans will certainly be excited to see in action.

"Star Wars Episode 8" is scheduled to be released on Dec. 15, 2017.
