A preview of "Sister Wives" season 6 has been released and it follows legal wife Meri's initiative to divorce Kody so fourth wife Robyn can wed him, giving her more chances of winning her custody battle for her kids.

"While the divorce from Kody was supposed to be just a document shuffle, it has become nothing like what the family thought it would be. So much has changed and the whole family struggles to figure out how to move forward," says the summary for the "Sister Wives" season 6 video, which runs for almost three minutes.

In the clip, Meri explains to Robyn that the divorce is final and official, and that the latter can already marry Kody to be the legal wife. Although Meri thinks about what she "lost," she recognizes that it's not about her.

"It's about the kids and that's what makes me happy," she says.

However, this teaser easily turns awkward when Meri reveals to Robyn that Kody doesn't know that the divorce is final, something Robyn thinks isn't proper and weird.

As for attending Robyn and Kody's wedding, Meri reveals to her sister wife that after this crazy ride and the divorce process, she has developed a "desire to be more involved" and she feels like she could be there to see what their "team effort" can do.

That said, Meri can tell the Brown patriarch, who is nowhere in the video, that they are finally divorced and actually laugh about it instead of getting hurt or feeling bitter. This is part of Meri becoming a "team player."

Before "Sister Wives" season 6, fans saw the Brown family doing some "legal restructuring." Kody and Robyn's marriage marks the beginning of their adoption of the latter's kids while waiting to welcome their second child, the 15th in the whole family, to the world.

"Sister Wives" season 6 premieres Sept. 13.
