The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers have amazingly never met against one another in the postseason, however, that record will finally be snapped on Sunday night as they come face to face for the 2014 NFC Championship Game.

The big NFL Playoffs game will start at 6.30 p.m. EST and be broadcast on the Fox network. The game will also be available to watch online through live stream – free for Fox Sports Go subscribers – via the link provided below.

These two fierce rivals are all square on their all time series record, with each team taking 15 wins each of their 30 games against one another. However, in more recent history the 49ers have won five of their last seven meetings. But it must be remembered that the Seahawks have won four of their last five games against the 49ers in Seattle – and those games in Seattle have not even been close, with the Seahawks outscoring the 49ers 139-58 over those games.

One comfort for the 49ers will be how well they have played on the road recently – winning three consecutive road games, taking down the Green Bay Packers and the Carolina Panthers.

49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh has said, "Our team's been in a lot of good primers. Been through a lot of situations. Been through tough environments, whether it be weather or opposing stadiums. This team's been in a lot of situations. Been everywhere man. Like the Johnny Cash song, 'We've been everywhere man.' Everywhere. Been in a lot of situations."

Harbaugh realizes the importance of defense when playing on the road. Speaking about the reasons for his recent success on the road he said, "I'm sure we could get into a long discussion about it, or peel back the onion layer by layer. But, good football players, good team; defense has played extremely well. That's very important in road games. Our players have competed and persevered and come out victorious. Those are the facts."
