Word about a dramatic price off on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge has been floating around and apparently the rumors are now a reality.

At least on the part of T-Mobile, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are indeed being offered at a much lowered price and variable depending on the Samsung model of interest.

The price cuts were first reported by Droid Life, seeing the certain models with price cuts for as much as $200.

To illustrate, the 32GB and 64GB Samsung Galaxy S6 models are now being offered for as much as $100 off. The $200 off seems to cover the 128GB variant which should be more tempting since more space would appeal more to potential buyers considering that the S6 does not have provisions of added storage via microSD.

With that said, this means the buyers can now get their hands of the Samsung S6 for as low as $579 for the S6 32GB model while the 128GB model's price starts at $659.

As far as the S6 Edge is concerned, prices for the curved display device starts at $679 for the 32GB variant while the 128GB model runs for about $759.

For folks who have yet to get one and are eager to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S6 or the S6 Edge this could be the best time to do so though one never knows if the prices could be lowered more by T-Mobile or by other carriers.

With Samsung's performance still far from impressive, the price cuts were seen as something to help clean out excess supply which was a result of a miscalculated forecast.

T-Mobile has broken the ice and it may be a matter of time before the other carriers follow suit. Also, it would be best to take note that stocks will be limited so if you are one of the many folks planning to get one, it may be best to do so as early as possible.
