According to Forbes, the leaked images came from a collaboration between famed leakster OnLeaks and U.K. price comparison site uSwitch. Apparently, the images are from the blueprints of Samsung's next-gen handset.

The website mentioned that if the blueprints are proven to be true, then the other rumor about Samsung coming out with at least four versions of the Galaxy S7 might also be true. The blueprint images shownwhat appeared to be a phablet Galaxy S7, in the 6-inch display category. While the unit model itself was not named in the document, Kelly mentioned that this might be the purported Galaxy S7 Plus.

Speculations about the Galaxy S7 coming in different variants at launch time has also been reported by BGR. According to the industry follower, instead of what Samsung did with previous versions of the Galaxy S series phone, fans will see the full Galaxy S7 lineup in an early 2016 launch. Reportedly, the upcoming flagships will come out as the base model Galaxy S7, a Galaxy S7 Edge, and two phablet variants, the Galaxy S7 Plus and Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.

While there are no confirmed details yet on what will the Galaxy S7 iterations will feature, speculations say the line will least retain a Super AMOLED display. In addition, it was alleged that the upcoming lineups will have at least two processor variants. Apparently, the Galaxy S7 will come out with a new Snapdragon 820 processor and Samsung's own Exynos 8890 chipset, and the models' processor variant will depend on the Galaxy S7's rollout locations.
