Samsung has been rumored to be preparing a few mid-range smartphones that are expected to arrive soon. The Galaxy C9 has been spotted on Indian import-export site Zauba, and a new leak seems to indicate that the device could arrive in October to November.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 (SM-C9000) is in the country for testing purpose. The import document showed that eight pieces came from China and has a value of Rs17,107 (around $255) each. The document also showed very little technical information about the phone, internally known as "Amy" and it has a 5.5 to 5.7-inch display screen. It is expected to be revealed within the next two months, according to Tech Update 3.

It is speculated that the new smartphone may feature up to a 1080p resolution with its Super AMOLED screen and that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. It could also contain 4 GB worth of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

The nearest model that Samsung released to the rumored device is the Galaxy C7, which has a 5.7-inch screen, 1080 x 1920 screen resolution, and around 386 ppi pixel density. It also came with a Snapdragon 625 which has a clock speed of 2.0 GHz and an Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM, 32 and 64 GB internal storage variants (expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD), and a 16-MP rear- and 8-MP front-facing cameras.

It also arrived with a non-removable 3,300 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button, and it is loaded with an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The device's connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v 4.1, and GPS.

Samsung fans should also note that the Galaxy C series is exclusive to the Chinese market and cannot be seen anywhere else.

Fans can expect more news as the rumored release date draws near for the Samsung Galaxy C9.
