Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro specs, price, release date: 6-inch display, SD 653, and 6 GB RAM among the features

Samsung finally unveiled the Galaxy C9 Pro that contains a quad-core 1.95 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 653, 6 GB RAM, and a 6-inch display. It is primarily aimed at the Chinese market, and there are no hints if it will be released elsewhere.

Additionally, the new device offers a Full HD resolution (1920x1080) AMOLED with 2.5D curved glass and 367 ppi pixel density screen. Its built-in storage space is at 64 GB with an option to expand it up to 256 GB with a microSD card. It also contains a monstrous non-removable 4,000 mAh battery, with the Quick Charge fast charging capability, that will definitely provide hours of fun and entertainment, GSM Arena reported.

The Galaxy C9 Pro contains a 16 MP rear-facing camera that features f/1.9 aperture, autofocus, phase detection, Geo-tagging, touch focus, and a dual-tone LED flash. It can record videos at 1080p at 30 fps. The front also contains a 16 MP camera.

Additionally, the latest C series smartphone offers dual-SIM functionality (nano and nano/microSD combo), 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi,802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC (Near Field Communication), and MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission). It also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type C 1.0 reversible connector. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's own user interface (UI). However, it remains unknown if it will receive the Nougat 7.0 update.

Android Authority added that the new device would also include a Cirrus HiFi Codec for an improved audio experience, as well as support for Samsung pay. Its dimensions are 162.9 (l) x 80.7 (w) × 6.9mm (t). It weighs exactly 189 grams. There are also two colors to choose from, Gold and Rose Gold, and it is now ready for pre-orders in China.

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has a price tag of CNY 3,199 (approximately $470), and it will start rolling out on Nov. 11.
