Ronda Rousey comeback fight rumors 2016: Dana White hints at November return [VIDEO]

As far as Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White is concerned, Ronda Rousey will return to UFC action before 2016 ends.

Word of such may be nothing new, considering Rousey herself confirmed she would be back for payback against reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm. The only question, though, is when.

For White, he sees November as the probable month where all that would happen. He did, however, make a statement on the safe side. Rather than saying that it would be a Holm vs. Rousey match, he mentioned that it will be Rowdy facing the winner of the upcoming match between Holm and Miesha Tate.

Holm and Tate will square off this March for UFC 197 with the UFC title on the line. It will be Holm's first title-defense since winning it over Rousey at UFC 193 back in November 2015.

The original plan was to see Holm defend the title she won from Rousey at the earliest possible time. But with Rousey obviously not yet ready, a match with Tate was made until the former champion is up to the task.

Rousey had asked for more time off due to conflicts in her filming schedule. But even before the former champion asked for more time off, the consensus was that she has not fully recovered from the shocking second round knockout she got from the former boxer.

Despite all the criticism on her state, many are still confident that Rousey will return and even the odds with Holm.

But this can only materialize if Holm wins her fight against Tate. The latter has proven to be a tough cookie, the only one to last more than a round against Rousey prior to Holm's feat.

Even though their match may not be as animated as the one against Rousey, Tate is not considered an underdog, meaning Holm will need a new approach for the veteran mixed martial arts fighter.
