Prison Break season 5 spoilers: Michael to want Sara back

Michael Scofield is alive! FOX

To say that Michael Scofield and Dr. Sara Tancredi's relationship will be complicated at the onset of Prison Break Season 5 will be an understatement.

Aside from the implication that Michael will have to deal with terrorists and escape a Yemeni prison with the help of his brother and his old team, he has to explain how he didn't die in what was presumed to be the series' swan song. He will also have to come face to face with the fact that Sara may have moved on.

Michael will most definitely want Sara back but the question will be whether Sara would want to reunite with him now that she is safely married to new cast member Mark Feuerstein's character.

"The question is, once he gets there will she even recognize him? Is he still the man she fell in love with? Because he has done some dark things and walked some shady roads, so my question is, and it was interesting to play, does Michael deserve that happy ending? Is that justified? Does he deserve that reunion with Sara that he is creating and that fans are looking forward to?" Wentworth Miller, who plays the character of Michael, said.

Meanwhile, a report by Movie News Guide hints that the fifth season could be the most action packed season ever based on initial behind the scenes photos released by actor Dominic Purcell through his Instagram account.

In one photo, Purcell, who plays Lincoln Burrows and Wentworth Miller are shown sitting side by side, worn and weary after what is presumed to be a lengthy action sequence.

In another snap, the actor shared an emotional scene between the brothers as they hug. It is believed to be the breakout scene as Michael seems to be wearing a prison uniform.

While reports hint at an early 2017 airdate, Parent Herald reported that a December air date is also a possibility.
