It looks like Emily (Shay Mitchell) will not stay single for long in "Pretty Little Liars" season 6B, as she will soon be dating an Italian girl.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, series creator Marlene King let slip in her interview that Emily will be meeting a beautiful girl of Italian descent. This may mean that although she and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) are over, the Liar will not be lonely for long. After all the things she had been through in the five-year time-jump, a little support from a loved one will come a long way, especially on the heels of her father's death.
Emily is reportedly the one who will return to Rosewood with a lot of emotional baggage. Among the girls, she alone has not made much of her life when they all decided to leave town and start a new life elsewhere. Variety reports that Emily was studying at Pepperdine when her father suddenly passed away. She took it hard, as she had always adored him for being a great dad. She dropped out of school, but decided to stay in California while working as a bartender.
The other Liars all have success stories. Hanna (Ashley Benson) apprenticed with a popular fashion designer and is currently engaged to a handsome, rich guy. Aria (Lucy Hale) has a new boyfriend and is working at a publishing firm. Spencer (Troian Bellisario), on the other hand, is busy pursuing her political aspirations at Capitol Hill. King said that while the other three would be creating secrets in Rosewood, Emily alone would come back with an old baggage, something that she would not want her friends to know.
"She has more than one secret — she's the one with the greatest secrets when we return," she said.
Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see Emily and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) together in season 6B. The two were romantically linked before things started going downhill for all the girls. It remains unsure if they still have feelings for each other, especially once Alison's fiancé comes into the picture.
