According to the latest reports and leaks collated by fans and observers of the "Pokémon" franchise, it seems that upcoming titles will add another Legendary figure to their roster.

First unveiled in the latest issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro, Nintendo announced that the newest Pokémon, Volcanion, is a Legendary figure and the 721st member of the family. The publisher also disclosed that Volcanion will be included in the upcoming "Pokémon X Y and Z" movie.

Volcanion is a first among the many types of Pokémon, noted Polygon. According to the official description of the new member, Volcanion is "both Fire and Water type. It uses fire and water to create steam within its body, expelling explosive shock waves and boiling steam from the arms on its back. The power is said to be great enough to blow away an entire mountain, gouging out the earth and changing the shape of the land."

Meanwhile, since Volcanion has already been revealed, it is speculated that the new Legendary will join the others in the next gaming title. Additionally, it is rumored that the next game, "Pokémon Z," will be joined in its release by a free download of "Pokémon GO."

According to Master Herald, a lot of hype has already been built up for the next title as well as the augmented reality game. As such, although publisher Nintendo and developer Niantic have only released a general 2016 release window, the industry follower believes that both "Pokémon Z" and "Pokémon GO" may appear as early as February, if only to coincide with the franchise's anniversary.

The industry follower also argued that providing a free download of "Pokémon GO" to coincide with the release of "Pokémon Z" is also a good idea to promote both games as the augmented reality title is a novel idea, while "Pokémon Z" is a much-awaited sequel.
