'Pokemon GO' Gen 2 release date next week with Trading features

Pokemon Go The Pokemon Company/Niantic

"Pokemon GO" will have its next big update soon, and a lot of fans are certainly expecting a lot from this upcoming expansion, especially since it will feature the Gen 2 Pokemon most fans have been coveting. Now, recent reports indicate that this update will feature the widely popular Baby Pokemon.

According to Ecumenical News, various reliable sources state that hatching eggs will now yield to a new set of Pokemon. Of course, this process aims to continue the evolution that was first initiated by the other Pokemon species back in the first generation. As such, some of them include Eevee, which is one of the most favorite Pokemon according to most fans, as well as other rarer species such as Chansey, Onix and the like.

With this new feature, it seems that Niantic is trying to make up for the amassed disappointment expressed by a lot of players due to the myriad compendium of glitches they encountered while playing "Pokemon GO," as well as the numerous server downtimes that plagued players during the first few weeks of the game. However, players can only hope that these issues will be addressed before this massive Gen 2 update is released.

Meanwhile, Game N Guide reports that some of the new features fans can expect once the Gen 2 patch goes live are the implementation of legendary Pokemon as well as a trading system. After all, some extensive data mining has yielded some interesting codes that could point to these possible new features once the update rolls out.

One piece of code seems to be indicative of the trading process, which could mean that players will have more trading options in the future. However, Niantic is still silent about it, but regardless, there is a lot of hype surrounding this upcoming update  which could roll out as early as next week.
