'Pokemon GO' Eevee guide update 2016: Eevee renaming trick to only work once; Espeon and Umbreon evolution related to the time of the day?

Eevee is one of the most powerful common Pokemon, as it can be evolved to three different Pokemon: Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon. Furthermore, Eevee can be evolved into two more new Pokemon once the second Generation Pokemon is out. Some fans are still wondering how to get their desired Eevee-lution, since originally, Eevee will have a random evolution once enough candies have been given for it to evolve.

According to the Game N Guide, it is possible for players to control Eevee's evolution simply by renaming it from one of the three abovementioned evolutions. This trick actually originates from an episode in the original "Pokemon" anime series. The episode "Battling Eevee Brothers" showed the audience three brothers owning a Flareon, a Jolteon and a Vaporeon. These brothers are named Pyro, Sparky and Rainer.

As such, the trick for evolving Eevee is to rename it into any of the trainer's name mentioned. Renaming their Eevee to Pyro will turn it to Flareon; Sparky for Jolteon, and Rainer for Vaporeon. This trick was first discovered as a rumor back in late July 2016, with most of the players initially disbelieving that this could actually work. After all, the evolution required a requisite amounts of candies, so they did not want to take chances.

However, John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic, has actually confirmed the legitimacy of this trick back in the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 event. There was a big catch about it, though, as this forced evolution can only work once per desired evolution. After that, it's back to the one-in-three chance of getting the Eevee-lution they want.

Also, with the new Pokemon coming with the second generation, a new set of requirements could be possible for players to be able to evolve Eevee into Espeon and Umbreon. Slash Gear points out that the time of the day could possibly affect this, with Eevee evolving to Espeon during the day and Umbreon during the night.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
