The new episode of the series "Pokemon Generations" features Blue battling the Kanto Region's Elite Four. It is certainly exciting to see and it also sheds some light on one of the most pressing questions that players used to ask about the original "Pokemon" games for the GameBoy: "How did Blue become the Pokemon League Champion?"

According to Game Rant, the YouTube series episode was released recently and Blue — the player's original rival from the games — is shown doing his best to defeat the strongest trainers in the Kanto Region, the Elite Four. The mini episode features all the clips from all of Blue's battles against the four where he takes on Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha, and finally the Dragon Master Lance.

It is speculated that "The Challenger" — the title of the current episode — pertains to Blue who took on one Elite Four member after another, but the third installment of the "Pokemon Generations" series concludes by showing the arrival of a second challenger at the Pokemon League. He/she is still unrecognizable, but it is possible that the person is Red from the original games.

Meanwhile, the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" anime has gave fans a sneak peek at some footage recently. Forbes reports that the famed protagonist of the show — Ash Ketchum — looks different compared to his appearance in the original "Pokemon"  anime.

In "Pokemon Sun and Moon," the show takes place in Alola where the upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon" game will also be based. Surprisingly, Ash will go there for the sole purpose of graduating. He will then encounter the unique Pokemon in the region, as well as the Alolan forms of some of the Pokemon already discovered. The anime could also possibly show off the Z-moves of Pokemon from the game.

Both the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" anime and game will be released sometime in October.
