PS Plus free games July 2015 predictions list: 'Rocket League,' 'Rayman Legends'

 Playstation Europe

The month is nearing its end, and for subscribers and fans of the PlayStation network, it is time to check out which games will make it on the July edition of the PlayStation Plus program.

The month of June saw six games being offered to PlayStation Plus members, with one triple-A, "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes," included. Since Sony has provided a premium title for free this month, subscribers are now expecting to receive an even better title in July, or at the very least, one of similar quality. However, since Sony has already announced the PS Plus edition of "Driveclub," considered to be another triple-A title, observers note that there might not be a premium title included for next month's lineup.

Although there has been no official announcement yet about which games would make it to the July list, the rumor mill has been churning out speculations about the games that could be offered by Sony for the upcoming month.

Topping the list is "Rocket League," a multiplayer football game with a twist. The official launch of the title is July 7, and since it coincides with the time of the month when Sony usually announces the games list for PlayStation Plus, "Rocket League" might be included for a time, to celebrate the game's launch.

Other games that are predicted to make it to the July list are "Killzone Shadow," "Rayman Legends," "Nidhogg," and "Ride."

Meanwhile, aside from releasing the free edition of racing sim "Driveclub" to PS Plus members, there is also an on-going Fantasy Deals flash sale, with titles like "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen," "LEGO The Hobbit," and "Game of Thrones – Season Pass" offered at discounted prices, in addition to a collection of movies. The flash sale will end on June 29 at 9:00 a.m. PT.
