'The Originals' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Klaus gets involved in 'huge fight scene'

Hayley and Klaus in "The Originals" The CW

Klaus will still be as flagrant as he can be when "The Originals" season 3 kicks off. Actor Joseph Morgan has recently revealed via Entertainment Weekly that his character will take part in a "huge fight scene," which he recently just filmed.

He wasn't very keen on spilling details on who he will be battling but he said, "There was definitely an emotional content to this fight."

Although he didn't reveal much, he did say that this battle is "a long time coming." As per the aforementioned publication, Klaus is likely taking on another vampire. It is still difficult to determine who that is.

Carter Matt says that the likeliest person to clash with Klaus is Hayley, who was cursed to live most of her life in werewolf form, thus stripping her of the chance to spend time with her baby girl, Hope. Hayley isn't very happy with this sudden change caused by Klaus' brashness and she could be confronting him for it in season 3.

Also, it was already confirmed that the new season will start four months after everything that happened in the season 2 finale. Even then, Hayley is still burdened by the curse and remains in her werewolf form. That said, she could very well be hell-bent in exacting revenge for her undeserved suffering.

Meanwhile, "the first vampires who were ever sired in history" are coming to "The Originals" season 3 and executive producer Michael Narducci told TV Overmind, "But perhaps, those new vampires that come to town, will have a perspective on Davina, and say, 'you could be a great ally to us, and may be there's some things we could give you if you would join forces with us.'"

He added that Davina will likely go for whatever will allow her to "bring peace for her people," as she is very serious in becoming a responsible leader. This can also be the premise of that fight scene Morgan was talking about.

"The Originals" season 3 will air on Oct. 6.
