Nokia is still up and running when it comes to competing in the phone industry, as its upcoming Nokia 9 phone is one of the most highly-anticipated phones of the year. Now, new leaks have surfaced showing the possible appearance, design, and features of the Nokia 9.

Based on the recently posted pictures by Manuel Castejon at Frandroid, the Nokia 9 is a legit high-end smartphone that is powered by Android. However, despite it being one of the Android phones, it still distinguishes itself as a true Nokia phone because of its unique and distinctive design.

Unfortunately, the latest renders of the upcoming Nokia phone do not give the public a lot of details as it is enclosed in a blue case. Because of this, there are still no conclusive details or features that people can make from it.

According to Forbes, the only clear details that can be observed in the pictures are about the camera. The Nokia 9 features a dual-lens system and an LED flash.

Apart from it, it is also reported to be capable of recording videos in full 4K resolution. This shows that Nokia still stays true to the company's reputation of manufacturing high-quality phones, as what the public can see on the recently released photos of the Nokia 9.

According to Tech Radar, because of the high-end features and marketing that Nokia took on their latest smartphone, there is a very high probability that it will effectively compete with Apple's iPhone 8 and Samsung's Galaxy S8 once it gets released. However, Nokia still needs to double its effort in gaining back the former glory that they once had, knowing that there are also other budget smartphones that are in the market.

The Nokia 9 also has a USB-C port located at the bottom of the phone, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
