After teasing the players for a while, Nintendo has already revealed its upcoming Nintendo NX, which is now known as the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo's latest console is a hybrid of both a portable handheld device and a console.

According to the Game Rant, there are a lot of rumors about the Nintendo NX from the gaming community in the past months, and after all these, Nintendo has finally shown its new upcoming console.

After making confirmations about their plans of showing its console, the company was able to make good with their promise, which gave fans a taste of what their system has to offer in all of its glory.

It turns out that the rumors were spot on in terms of design, since it means that the double functionalities of being a handheld and home console will offer something new, which is a rather unique premise never done before. Also, the console being called the Nintendo Switch is more of a descriptor since its nature is basically that.

Furthermore, various new games will be included for the new platform, which also includes classic games like "Skyrim," and possibly a new "Mario Kart" game.

Additionally, The Verge highlights the fact that the Nintendo Switch can be used in e-sports, as shown in the console's trailer where players are fighting the wacky shooter game "Splatoon" in a stadium, first practicing in the hallway using the console's portable version before proceeding to do some competitive gaming.

The primary implication of the part of the video is to show fans that the Nintendo Switch can be a portable console capable of handling e-sports, showing the insight of the company when it comes to the changing times.

Regardless, it will not be long now until the Nintendo Switch comes out, since it will be released around March 2017 worldwide.
