Nintendo NX release date, news, specs rumors: console/handheld hybrid teased in new link

A lot of fans are waiting for more news about the upcoming Nintendo NX console. After all, the hype surrounding the device is palpable, and the latest rumors are saying that it could be possible that Nintendo will start dropping more pieces of official news about the new console as early as this week.

According to the Inqusitr, normally, the rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, but the reliabiliy of the source, The Wall Street Journal, is reputable. It is not baseless, too, as October is the month when investors gather to discuss the financial intricacies of the second quarter. Considering the fact that Nintendo does not have much to say about its current Wii U console, it could be possible that they are gearing up to go all out with the Nintendo NX.

With rumors of the device's release gaining more and more credence, a lot of people online have started speculating on the specs of the upcoming device especially regarding its hardware, software and price. A user on Reddit, who is rumored to be a part of a major retailer, revealed information about the device, and it appears to have confirmed what most people have been speculating on: the Nintendo NX is a console and handheld hybrid device.

Demo units are expected to be given to the retailers by 2017. The highly anticipated Nintendo NX is also expected to be launched with about four first party titles.

The device will reportedly also be offered in bundles, though as of the moment, there still no information regarding what is included in the $300 and $400 bundles.

Despite no official release date, reports claim that it is highly likely that the Nintendo NX will launch around March 2017.
