Two new variants of the Nexus 5 2015 are expected to be revealed by Sept. 29, although there is no official word on what product names they may actually come out with.

Of course, some have heard of those rumored names before such as the Huawei "Angler" and the LG "Bullhead," although these names were used mostly internally for both companies.

According to Droid-Life, the two variants will be known in what seems to be a better and easier identity. The LG variant will be known as the Nexus 5X, something that doesn't seem surprising considering that such has already been buzzing before.

On the other hand, there is the Huawei version, which will reportedly be known as the Huawei Nexus 6P. Huawei has used the "P" from previous devices and apparently, this will be the distinguishing mark (or identity) that should help out users as far as differentiating the two variants.

So assuming that these official product names will hold up, here is a run through once more on what to expect.

As far as the LG Nexus 5X is concerned, folks can expect a 5.2-inch 1080p QHD screen that will run on a Snapdragon 808 processor. It will also come with 3 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of storage, and a 2,700 mAh battery to hold up the phone's power needs.

On the other end, the Huawei Nexus 6P will have a larger 5.7-inch QHD screen and bank on a Snapdragon 810 processor. It will feature 3 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of internal storage, and a larger 3,000 mAh battery.

Both devices will come with a 12.3-megapixel camera and are likely to debut with the latest Android Marshmallow OS.

The names mentioned above are, of course, not yet final. If so, all of that will be ironed out come Sept. 29, which is only about a week away.
