As the New Orleans Pelicans continue to climb their way in the tough Western Conference, one player is again reportedly available for trade and this time it is versatile guard Tyreke Evans.

Before the trade period began and even when it started, Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson and guard Eric Gordon were the players getting the most attention regarding potential deals.

Now, Evans joins them with Michael Sotto of Sheridan Hoops reporting through a tweet, "Sources: Pelicans are listening to trade offers for Tyreke Evans and gauging his value. He is on the books for $10.2 million next season."

These players being available in the trade market may have displayed how desperate New Orleans is to change the roster to spark new life and energy in a failing campaign.

Anderson, Evans, and Gordon are three of the Pelicans' top four scorers, led by All-Star forward Anthony Davis.

Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry already said Anderson is not going anywhere, while Gordon was reportedly part of an unsuccessful offer to the Sacramento Kings in an attempt to acquire forward Rudy Gay.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans have not given any comment yet about Evans' availability when it comes to trade deals, with the former Rookie of the Year missing their last two games due to a knee injury.

Sportsnet believes that if Evans is indeed for trade, many teams will inquire about him because of his ability to play the point guard, shooting guard, and small forward position.

Along with this, the 26-year-old player is still an efficient player, averaging 15.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.3 steals in 30.6 minutes of action per outing.

The only issue with Evans is his knee woes, which sidelined him in the early parts of the 2015–16 regular season and as reported have kept him out in their previous two games.
