Abby Sciuto's (Pauley Perrette) brother is in hot water after being suspected of poisoning airplane passengers in the upcoming episode of the long-running CBS series "NCIS."

In "Sister City, Part I," TV.com reports that passengers and crew of a private plane traveling from New Orleans to Washington, D.C. will all wound up dead. Evidences point out that they are all poisoned and that Luca, the aircraft's chef, is the perpetrator. Things take a turn for the worse when he turns up missing, which the authorities take as a sign of his guilt.

When Abby hears of the news that his brother is being suspected of mass murder, she will immediately find a way to prove that he is not a cold-blooded killer. She will be getting a lot of help from Dwayne Pride's (Scott Bakula) New Orleans team, as they all dig deep to find out who is really behind the crime. The two squads will collaborate to solve this complicated case, where viewers will see crossovers of some of the agents.

Sebastian Lund (Rob Kerkovich) will reportedly fly to D.C. to help Abby in the forensics, while Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) will deliver an overnight package to New Orleans. For their part, Pride and his agents will investigate the connection between Luca and a Russian sleeper agent. They have a hunch that the foreign national has something to do with the mass murder and Abby's brother is being framed for it.

CBS has tapped actor Tyler Ritter to play the role of Luca. In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Gary Glasberg talked about his character and how excited they were to work with him.

"Tyler embodies everything we were looking for in Luca Sciuto. He's warm, caring, funny, eccentric, offbeat and inquisitive. We are thrilled to have him for this very special crossover episode of 'NCIS' and 'NCIS: New Orleans,'" he said.

"NCIS" season 13 episode 12 will air on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
