NBA trade rumors 2015: Interest in DeMarcus Cousins sizzle

With a lot of teams likely to tinker with their roster, expect the National Basketball Association (NBA) trade rumor mill to go like crazy from hereon.

Free agents who signed in the offseason can either keep their job or be without one soon, although that doesn't mean that players with guaranteed contracts are safe. There have been a lot of names lately, although there is one player who made headlines in the offseason who is likely to be up again — DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings.

Now, do remember that it was team owner Vivek Ranadivé who made it clear that he has no intention of trading Boogie Cousins since he is the pillar of the Kings' franchise.

But if rumors from Sheridanhoops.com is any good, that stand may have changed. Not that Cousins has been far from himself but it could be about what other teams can offer in exchange for the temperamental forward.

The Chicago Bulls have reportedly come as a team interested in Cousins, although it wasn't mentioned who could be dangled in exchange. Joakim Noah? Taj Gibson? Maybe even Derrick Rose.

For now, there are no names in mention but seeing the caliber and value of Cousins, it has to be something big and likely to involve multiple players.

Now, the Bulls are not the only team that could deal for Cousins. The Miami Heat could trade up for him, not to mention the Boston Celtics which was the team in hot pursuit of Cousins in the offseason.

The Heat may find landing Cousins a bit rough, considering the salary cap issue they have going on right now, although they could still make something happen by trading off some of their high-salaried players.

The Celtics could push for a deal which may involve Kelly Olynyk, Jared Sullinger, Marcus Smart, and maybe some of their future picks.

There could be other teams out there as well, although for now, it is these three teams closely associated for a possible trade involving Cousins.
