After allowing Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) to see their daughter Cadence, Avery (Jonathan Jackson) appears to be readying himself for their much awaited reconciliation in the upcoming episode of the hit ABC series "Nashville."

During the midseason finale, Emily (Kourtney Hansen) succeeded in convincing Avery to let the child go on a supervised visit to her mother. It was the best that Avery could do, as he was still not prepared to let Juliette spend time with Cadence alone. He appointed Emily to oversee the meetings. Avery felt that he was not ready to see his ex-wife. The fact that he is opening his doors for her, however, is a positive sign for the fans who want them back together. Will this be the start of a better relationship between the estranged couple?

When Emily told Avery the news that Juliette is getting treatment for her depression, the latter was furious that she dared see the pop star. He thought it was one of his ex-wife's ploy to manipulate them once again. Avery even asked his lawyer to ensure that Juliette would never see their daughter. He then fired Emily for going behind his back and establishing communication with Juliette. Will (Chris Carmack) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) convinced him, however, that Emily was only doing what she thought was best for the kid and that Avery was overreacting.

He also got a surprise visit from Juliette's therapist. The doctor told him her patient needed to see their daughter to get well. When Avery refused, he was reprimanded for being the one responsible for Cadence and Juliette not having a relationship. Emily also reminded him that no matter what Juliette has done, she is still Cadence's mother. The fact that she has gotten help, just like what Avery wanted, should tell him Juliette was serious in her wish to get her family back. Will Avery finally let Juliette melt his frozen heart?

"Nashville" season 4 will return on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
