Ever since the announcement of the upcoming release of the final DLC expansion pack for the highly popular anime fighting video game, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," fans of the franchise have been asking questions about how exactly Bandai Namco Entertainment plans to make the new DLC available to fans in North America. Fortunately, Bandai's American headquarters has now announced that they will be making the DLC available to gamers in the U.S. at the same time as the DLC's Japan and European releases.

Bandai announced that the new DLC, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto," will be made available to North American consumers as both a digital download and as a physical product they can pick up from the shelf. The company also revealed that the new DLC expansion will be a stand-alone game, which means that gamers don't really need to have a copy of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" in order to play it.

This is, of course, welcomed news for fans who were hoping to get a physical copy of the game to add to their collection, as previous reports claimed that North America was only going to get access to the DLC's digital copy.

As the title suggests, the brand new DLC expansion pack will mainly be focusing on the events and characters of the manga's final chapters and of the recently released "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." The DLC will include new adventures and missions that will have gamers playing as Naruto's son, Boruto Uzumaki. Several new playable characters will also be added including the alleged son of Orochimaru, Mitsuki. Gamers will also be able to get access to brand new costumes and move sets including new fighting styles for Naruto and Sasuke.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto" will be released in Japan on Feb. 2, 2017 and then a day after, on Feb. 3, in Europe and North America.
