Pre-registration is now open for the much awaited Naruto Shippuden Ninja Blazing, a mobile game developed by Bandai Namco and Shonen Games inspired by the popular manga and anime title.

The pre-registration entitles players to a special gift – five ninja pearls once 25,000 players sign up for the game.

According to the official pre registration site, a player can only register one type of OS per email address or social media account.

The site also reminded registrants that the release dates of the game will vary by country. Unfortunately, some players will not be able to download the game at all because the game is released in some countries only.

To ensure that the game will work on your device, it must be operating on iOS 8.0 or later, and Android 4.2 or later.

According to a post by Attack of the Fanboy, the game will challenge players to complete missions through turn-based battles.

Players get to choose from a roster of fan favorite characters from the Naruto franchise, each featuring their own attacks and skills.

With the right strategy, players get to test their mettle against other players around the world through a monthly Phantom Castle leaderboard event or they can simply enjoy challenging themselves through the single or multiplayer modes or the story mode. They will be glad to note that the story mode remains very faithful to arcs in the original series.

Another report by Christian Times also indicated that each character will have a special power, the Ultimate Jutsu that they can fall back on when the situation calls for it. The power is inspired by a feature on the Ultimate Ninja Storm games.

The game is expected to be released in Japan this year, and in the US by next year, although no official date has been announced by Bandai Namco yet.
