'Naruto Gaiden' chapter 707 summary: Sakura's daughter not Sarada?

Contrary to what most fans had believed, the "Naruto" saga did not end with the 700th chapter, at the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War.

"Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage" picks up where the series left off. Years after the great war, Uzumaki Naruto is now the Seventh Hokage, and peace has returned to the Leaf Village and the whole ninja world. However, another turbulence seems to be brewing.

Naruto decides to investigate some rumors that the group Akatsuki, which he and the others fought and defeated, is again on the move. Leaving the village, he is tailed by two girls, one of which is Uchiha Sarada.

Unknown to them at that point, Sarada, being the daughter of Uchiha Sasuke, has been targeted by the new Akatsuki. As Naruto and the girls arrive at a location and meet Sasuke, they are attacked by two members of the new Akatsuki.

Thinking of coming to their rescue, Haruno Sakura is instead transported together with the enemies in their lair. She finds out that the leader of the new Akatsuki is not a true Uchiha but is a failed clone experiment embedded with a Sharingan eye.

Meanwhile, Naruto, Sasuke, and the two girls arrive at Orochimaru's hideout to learn more about their new enemies. Orochimaru tells them about Uchiha Shin, and how he was cloned and implanted.

Sarada then notices that her father's former team members are there, and asks them about Karin, another team member. It seems that Sarada doubts Sakura's claims that she is her mother since the girl closely resembles Karin. To put the matter to rest, Karin undergoes some sort of DNA testing right in Orochimaru's lab to ascertain the truth, and is not surprised at all to learn that her DNA matches that of Karin.
