It has been rumored that the 2015 edition of the Moto G is coming sooner than expected. According to tech fan site Gospel Herald, the newest Moto G would surface either in June or July. The rumor branched out from a possible sighting of the device in the popular Indian online retailer FlipKart. However, the said listing has already been taken down, but not before rumors of the list have already made the rounds online.

Tech manufacturer Motorola has yet to issue a statement, as the company is keeping the lid on the specific date on when the anticipated handset would arrive. However, many observers note that with the pacing of releases for this year, Motorola would most likely announce their newest flagship line-ups between the second and third quarters of 2015.

For the upcoming Motorola handset, tech experts say that the new Moto G will come in white and will sport either a 5-inch or 5.2-inch full HD display. It will also run on a Snapdragon 610 processor with 2 GB or RAM and both 4G and LTE capabilities. Additionally, the Moto G 2015 edition will have 8 GB of expandable storage via microSD, and will come out with Android Lollipop 5.1 right out of the box.

Meanwhile, it is said that after the Moto G's launch, Motorola will then push for an early release of the third-gen Moto X, placing it in either August or September. This will complete the company's launch to a higher-spec audience, as the Moto X 2015 is rumored to come out with a bigger and more improved 16 MP main shooter and 5 MP secondary camera. Additionally, the Moto X 2015 will also sport a whopping 4 GB RAM.

The upcoming edition of the Moto G is one of the highly anticipated smartphones by Motorola fans, along with the third generation of the Moto X. The predecessors of the two handsets were both considered to be budget-friendly while still showcasing mostly mid-range to premium specs.
