With the "Kombat Pack 2" released and the issues of the "Mortal Kombat X" PC version already smoothed out, a lot of fans are now wondering about the release date of the upcoming downloadable content (DLC) for the game titled "Kombat Pack 3." While fans have been requesting left and right for the release of the new DLC pack, it seems that there is still no official confirmation about its launch.

According to Game N Guide, the developer responsible for the "Mortal Kombat X" game — NetherRealm Studios — recently said that a new combat game for the PC version of the title will be released soon. As fans can remember, the update was made available last Oct. 4 for the console platforms, and the latest DLC update was released a day before that during the Kombat Kast.

Furthermore, new improvements will be implemented for some of the characters in the "Mortal Kombat X" game's latest XL patch. One such character is Bo' Rai Cho, whose staff will now enable players to deflect his opponents' thrown weapons and at the same time increase his attack power. Kitana will also receive a buff in the update, as she will now have an Assassin buff, making her more dangerous to fight against. Meanwhile, Raiden will become tougher since he will receive two hits of armor once the update is implemented.

The Ecumenical News also reports that those who bought the "Mortal Kombat XL" game will have both the base game as well as the two available Kombat Packs. Now, avid fans of the franchise will have access to some iconic characters outside the "Mortal Kombat" universe, like Leatherface from the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" franchise and the Xenomorph from the "Alien" series.

Regardless, with the "Kombat Pack 3" still unconfirmed, a lot of players are starting to get more frustrated about the lack of updates about the DLC.
