Couples in both the Dunphy and Pritchett families will be facing domestic problems in the upcoming episode of the "Modern Family."

In "Thunk in the Trunk," Spoilers Guide reports that Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) will deal with the former's complaint of being the "invisible housewife." With Claire acting as the manager cum breadwinner of the family, Phil cannot help but feel ignored and useless. His wife is doing well with the closet business she got from her retired father, whereas he is doing nothing. Phil is feeling lost, having provided for his family's needs for a long time. Now that Claire is the one earning for him and the children, something does not feel right with him. Will he get over the feeling soon?

Meanwhile, trouble is brewing between Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) over the latter's life-size picture promoting her hot sauce. Jay has always been supportive of Gloria, he even made her realize that her hot sauce recipe should be marketed. Unfortunately, his patience will be put to a test when his wife's sexy image in the grocery store display gets sleazy comments from men. Jay will even ask Manny (Rico Rodriguez) to help him in a little heist he prepared, but things will reportedly not go according to the plan.

Also in the episode, Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) will find that managing a rental property is not easy as it seems to be. At first, they try to be very accommodating with their customers. They know that positive feedbacks will get them more clients in the future. However, when their new tenants start to act shadily, the couple cannot help but be suspicious. They will decide to see for themselves what the renters are doing inside their leased room. Will the tenants catch them snooping?

"Modern Family" season 7 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Freeform (formerly ABC Family).
