It seems Microsoft has finished updating the devices of Windows Insider members to the latest Windows 10 Mobile, as the company is now rolling out the cumulative update 10.0.10586.107 to non-Windows Insider members. Currently, open market variants can download the update.
Microsoft announced on Feb. 17 on its Community Forum that the latest Windows 10 Mobile February update is ready and available for download. The announcement was made by Mike Mongeau, a moderator on the forum. He also said that the update will be available to a wider audience within the coming weeks.
He wrote: "We have started rolling out the February cumulative update (10.0.10586.107) for Windows 10 Mobile today. Update availability will start with open market variants and will increase to everyone over the next week as we monitor and ensure quality of the release."
Mongeau also reminded Windows phone users to simply follow the update notifications as they arrive on the phones since Windows 10 Mobile is constantly updating.
The 10.0.10586.107 update includes enhancements for reliability and stability, improved Bluetooth connectivity with car and other accessories, batter usage improvement, Iris Recognition for Windows Hello, improvement for PDF rendering and navigation with Microsoft Edge.
The Windows 10 Mobile February update also includes fixes for users who get stuck at software updates and application downloads for a long period of time, as well as a fix for low storage prompts when downloading phone updates. Lastly, the system will now be asking phone users to plug in the charger during downloads and installation of phone updates. This process will lessen the chance of having problematic updates due to low power issues.
Additionally, the 10.0.10586.107 update also fixes the Outlook issue that puts accounts on out-of-date status and the BitLocker stuck up screen.
Windows Central added that the latest Windows 10 Mobile build is arriving on non-Lumia phones that were shipped with Windows 10 Mobile as their operating system.
To manually check for updates, users can tap Settings > Update & security > Phone update > Check for updates, then simply follow the onscreen instructions.
