AT&T has opened pre-orders for the Microsoft Lumia 950 flagship prior to its official rollout with the mobile carrier this Friday, Nov. 20.

According to an announcement, the newest Lumia flagship is now available on the mobile carrier's website, and the stocks can either be delivered or picked up at different AT&T retail stores. Highlighting the phone's powerful features, Jeff Bradley, senior vice president for device marketing and developer services, said "The Lumia 950's PC-like capability enables you to get things done faster and more efficiently, even when you're on-the-go."

The Lumia 950 is the flagship iteration of Microsoft that will come out with the mobile version of the new Windows 10 platform. For Windows power users, this will give them a chance to work with Windows 10 both from their workstation and smartphone. However, to fully take advantage of the Lumia 950's "PC-like capabilities," would-be owners would need the Microsoft Display Dock HD-500, which AT&T will sell separately.

Although the display dock will not be bundled, the mobile carrier still has a treat in store for would-be Lumia 950 owners. Purchases of the new Microsoft flagship smartphone will enable buyers to purchase from AT&T Next a Microsoft Surface 3 tablet for $400 via a two-year agreement.

The Lumia 950 is the newest flagship iteration from Microsoft. Aside from carrying the mobile version of Windows 10 right out of the box, the new device's specs sheet also spells out its premium features. The Lumia 950 sports a Snapdragon 808 processor. In addition, it also carries 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage that is expandable to up to 200 GB via microSD support, a 5.2-inch Quad HD OLED display with crystal clear resolution and  PureView Zeiss 20-MP rear camera with 4K video capture feature. The Lumia 950 will come in matte black and matte white color options.
