Miami Heat trade rumors 2016: Miami considering Kevin Love, Rudy Gay

Despite his less than stellar showing in the postseason against the Golden State Warriors as part of the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, it is rumored that Miami Heat is looking to build a trade package to acquire power forward Kevin Love.

According to a report by Inquisitr, Miami may be willing to provide a new environment for Love, who has averaged in the 2015-2016 regular season 16.0 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. In terms of scoring, he averaged 41.9 percent from the field overall and scored 36 percent of his three-point attempts.

After Dwayne Wade made one of the biggest moves to leave Miami in favor of Chicago, Miami is hoping to strengthen its frontcourt with Love and Whiteside.

Rumored to be part of the package that the Heat may offer the Cavs is Goran Dragic along with draft picks to pique the interest of Cleveland.

Aside from trade rumors, the team is also faced with a question of whether Chris Bosh will be returning for the upcoming season after he recovers from blood clots.

It has been reported by the Miami Herald that Bosh is set to get off his blood thinners this summer and will have to be cleared by Miami in order to play for the next season.

While some fans believe that the team may drop him to clear their salary cap, the team has assured that it is willing to let Bosh play if the doctors give their green light.

However, while Bosh's fate is yet to be decided, Ecumenical News reported that Miami may be looking to keep its options open by considering Sacramento Kings' Rudy Gay in order to ensure that the gap in scoring that could result from Wade's departure and Bosh's uncertain return will be addressed.

Gay was last season's second top scorer for the Kings.
