With the trade season still at full speed, trade rumors on the NBA are still popular. As such, a lot of Miami Heat fans are surprised that the team has just re-signed Beno Udrih.

The Parent Herald says that Udrih has finally decided to go back with his former team. This former Memphis Grizzlies point guard and shooting guard has just decided to sign a one-year guaranteed contract with a $1.4 million veteran's minimum with the Heat just a few days ago. This is despite the fact that some basketball informants saying that Udrih had other offers aside from Miami Heat.

However, since he felt most comfortable with the Heat, he agreed to sign the deal. The head coach of Miami Heat, Erik Spoelstra, did not give Udrih an assured play time as of the moment, but he asked him to provide veteran leadership instead. After all, Beno Udrih has an average of 4.4 points and 2.5 assists in an average of 16.3 minutes play time for 32 games.

He did miss the final two months of the season due to his foot injury. Regardless, Udrih had to sacrifice around $100,000 in his salary in order to favor Heat and keep the team well below the luxury tax threshold. With him on the team, Miami Heat still has 19 players up to date. As such, it is possible for the team to get more players to add to their roster.

Inquisitr reports that Devin Harris from the Dallas Mavericks is still being considered for the team. Either that or they might choose to go for the free agent Baron Davis who is reportedly coming back for the upcoming NBA season. The reason for the former is that he is a low-budget player with good performance while the latter is a veteran player who now decides to join back to the NBA after a two-year hiatus.
