Miami Heat is still recovering from the departure of their star Dwayne Wade, trying to rebuild its roster despite the big hole left by this NBA player. Now, rumors point that Chris Paul can be the perfect replacement in order to revive their team in the upcoming NBA season.

According to the Centrio Times, Miami Heat is currently targeting LA Clippers superstar Chris Paul, despite feeling the fallout from Wade's loss. This way, getting Paul into the team will surely make up from this massive blowout. As such, they might be willing to have one of the NBA veteran players, Goran Dragic, traded to the Clippers in order to get their point guard.

There is a high chance for the Miami Heat to succeed, since the LA Clippers would rather keep their power forward Blake Griffin. However, Chris Paul still has an impressive set of skills in the court, so this will certainly not be overlooked by other NBA teams. With this, other rumors have begun to bloom, with the New York Knicks speculated to be one of the most interested teams in taking in this star.

Meanwhile a lot of fans are surprised that the veteran guard Ray Allen is rumored to return to the NBA. However, Ecumenical News reports that he is unlikely to join the Miami Heat. This is perplexing, as this 41-year old's last two seasons with the NBA was spent with this team, winning his second championship with the team.

Regardless, the same report states that he instead want to play with the Milwaukee Bucks or Boston Celtics. Allen also revealed that Spike Lee has been in communication with him, since this director wants him to be in the New York Knicks. Wherever he may be, his pay might be worth more than the bare minimum for veterans, so his choices are pretty much broad.
