Right now, Marvel is going through its MCU Phase 3 at full speed, and a lot of fans are still curious as to the schedule of its next period, the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4.

However, Marvel is pretty silent about it, possibly due to the fact that they are still focusing on the current MCU phase. But according to the Morning Ledger, Kevin Paige, president of production for Marvel, was interviewed during the SDCC 2016 event. He said that the studio already has a clear idea of the movies that they should be making come 2020. After all, Marvel usually looks at a half a decade's worth of planning in terms of making films that are interconnected with its cinematic universe.

Feige even went so far as to say that the studio has the ideas and are firm in the direction they're going for, four years from now. He added that while 2021 is still a crazy, far-fetched future for him, he still thinks that the year will start an influx through 2025. As such, the movies released by this time period will be included in MCU phase 4.

Marvel has not yet confirmed all the movies to be included in the Phase 4 lineup, but a report done by Screen Rant says that it might include some highly anticipated movies such as "Spider-Man 2," "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" and "Black Widow." The first one is rumored to be released by 2020, after "Spider-Man: Homecoming," while the second one might be released if the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will be successful. As for the last one, Scarlett Johansson has expressed her interest in making a solo movie, but so far, no official announcement has been made.

For now, the confirmed slated movies for the MCU Phase 4 include "Captain Marvel" for March 2019 and "Avengers: Infinity War 2" for May 2019. In any case, in the coming months fans should just tune in for more announcements.
