Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin) will find out how screwed up his biological mother has become in the upcoming episode of the hit TNT series "Major Crimes."

In "Hindsight Part 2," TV Guide reports that the young journalist will discover that Sharon Beck's (Ever Carradine) ex-lover is actually a criminal who is on the FBI hit list. The man is a fugitive and information about his whereabouts is highly valued. Ever since Sharon showed her face to Rusty after a long time of being incognito, she has done nothing but cause heartache to her son.

At fifteen, Rusty was abandoned by his mother when she ran away with another man. As a teen, Rusty became a prostitute to survive. He got introduced to Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) when he witnessed a crime committed in Griffith Park. When the criminal, Phillip Stroh (Billy Burke), was eventually sent to jail, Raydor decided to adopt him. With her, Rusty soon discovered his love for journalism and became instrumental in solving a crime for the unit.

In interview with Parade.com, executive producer and creator James Duff shared about the difficulties Rusty would be facing because of his mother. He said that Sharon's new concern would ultimately lead her son to trouble. What kind of favor will the woman asked of Rusty? Judging from Duff's cryptic statement, she is going to ask for a lot.

"I think we are going to have the end of hot water and we are going to have the end of Rusty's youth. We're ending Rusty's hot-water youth in these five episodes. ... We are going to come to an understanding about those things," he said.

Meanwhile, resident forensic specialist Michael Tao (Michael Paul Chan) will find his patience tested by an old colleague. His former partner, the disgraced Detective Mark Hickman (guest star Jason Gedrick), is causing trouble for him. A case they worked on in the past has a connection with a newer crime. This will open old wounds for them, with Hickman determined to blacken Tao's reputation as an agent.

"Major Crimes" season 4 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
