The highly-anticipated "Mafia 3" game's launch trailer has been released by Hangar 13 and 2k Games, which features the game's New Orleans-like setting and its underbelly of criminal activities.

According to Game Rant, "Mafia 3" is a hotly-anticipated title that has received a lot of positive reception ever since its developers started releasing teaser trailers for the game. After all, as far as people are concerned, it seems that the game has the potential to finally fulfill all the promises its predecessors failed to capitalize on.

The hype for the game proves to be palpable despite the fact that this year will feature other solid titles such as the "Final Fantasy XV" game from Square Enix and the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" game from EA.

As the game is finally released, its launch trailer has taken fans by storm, showing a flurry of snapshots that feature the plethora of various settings gamers are expected to be in when they play the game. The trailer also uses an original track by Ice Cube and DJ Shadow, and it is a pure cinematic experience that just shows how formidable the game is, with its host of myriad characters and the various environment this New Orleans-like setting can offer.

Curiously, though, 2k Games opted to incorporate cutscenes in the trailer instead of featuring actual gameplay footage, as reported by Zero Lives. This is understandable since a lot of videos before it has already shown these, especially those that feature the game's exciting combat mechanics. As such, delivering one last cinematic before it got released hyped the game more than ever.

Hangar 13 and 2k Games may already have won after being placed on the same level as the 2016 holiday season giants such as "Battlefield 1" and the like. Regardless, with it already released, players can now judge for themselves whether or not the "Mafia III" game lives up to the hype.
