Just five months after former "19 Kids and Counting" star Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard welcomed their first child, there are already speculations flying around that a second baby is already on the way. But this, to some fans' disappointment, is not the case.

Just a few days back, Derick teased via Twitter that he had something to share about some "exciting things" going on in their family, who are now back in the U.S. again after their missionary travels in Central America. It did not take long for fans to jump to the conclusion that the couple is already expecting baby number two, especially when Derick urged them to "keep a watch for an announcement coming soon."

It turns out that this announcement is about the new milestone in Jill's career. Swollen with pride, the dad of one broke the news on their website, saying, "It's official; my wife is a midwife!"

In the same blog post, he attempted to detail the strenuous process Jill had to go through to finally be called "Jill Dillard, CPM," which is music to Derick's ears. This included a 7-hour comprehensive exam, sleepless nights and long labors, and "being on call for multiple births at a time."

"Jill has been very disciplined and sacrificed a lot to get to this point," Derick wrote, adding that the blog post won't be enough to explain every single sacrifice his wife had to endure before they were able to savor such sweet victory. "I am so proud of her for her diligence, perseverance, and hard work to see this long road through to its end and reaching her goal of becoming a CPM."

He said that Jill's midwifery skills will be of use in the "furthering of God's Kingdom."
