Jeremy Lin news: Linsanity continues to show promise for Charlotte Hornets

Jeremy Lin's star continues to shine and the latest team to see what a rejuvenated Lin can do are the Los Angeles Clippers.

Lin was once again instrumental for the Charlotte Hornets, chipping in 13 points which included the team's first 10 points for the match as the Hornets routed the Los Angeles Clippers, 113–71 over at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai last Wednesday.

Lin has been impressive so far but as everyone knows, preseason games are far different from the regular season games.

While not too many teams may be unleashing their full potential, some with new players are using it as a chance to perhaps see how new players can blend in with their new teammates.

The Hornets are, of course, one of them and Lin is a prime example.

Lin plans to come back hard and Charlotte is the place where he believes he can do so. Right now he is showing promise but all that could change when the regular season opens before October comes to a close.

Lin is seen as someone who will likely come off the bench, although it will not come as a surprise if he eventually makes the starting lineup. He could end up playing alongside Kemba Walker or a scenario which would see Nicolas Batum moving up to the small forward position.

Regardless, Lin is expected to make the best out of the exposure that head coach Steve Clifford will give him, although it will not be surprising if Clifford is already impressed by what he is seeing.

Lin had a disastrous stint with the Los Angeles Lakers last season and drew a lot of interest from several teams. Right now, he seems a good addition to the Hornets and hopefully this will radiate all the way to the regular season where the stakes are higher.
