Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael's (Justin Baldoni) baby boy Mateo will be spending his first ever Christmas with his family in the upcoming episode of the hit The CW series "Jane the Virgin."

In "Chapter Thirty," Spoiler TV reports that it is going to be a fun holiday season for Jane's family as they celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with the baby in their midst. With the holidays just around the corner, everyone seems to be feeling the festivity in the air, except for Mateo's parents. The two are reportedly still bickering over Rafael's manners to Michael (Brett Dier) during the Black Friday shopping spree. Jane was almost convinced that she and the baby should live together with Rafael, but his actions made her reconsider.

While Jane is obviously still smarting over what transpired, Rafael will try to make her change her mind. In the promo released for the next episode, he is seen passionately kissing Jane on the lips. Will the kiss be enough to express how sorry he was with what happened? Rafael should be prepared to go the extra mile, as Jane has another thing in mind that worries her. The scholarship she has been counting on will fall short of her expectations. Jane needs to find another means to pay for her schooling and it is proving to be a difficult endeavor. Will she lower her pride and ask her wealthy baby daddy for some financial help?

Meanwhile, Jane is apparently not the only one having a bad day. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) worries that he made the wrong choice in hiring his new intern. The kid does not actually inspire trust and it feels like he is not up to the job. Petra (Yael Grobglas) is perplexed how her mother landed them in trouble once again.

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 episode 8 airs Monday, Dec. 14, at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
