iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak release date: reveal coming at Pangu's July event?

  Pangu

With the iOS 9.3.3 still currently in beta testing, a lot of iOS users are still waiting for a new jailbreak. After all, it's been quite a while since the last one was released, so a lot of users are still stuck with an earlier iOS version.

According to the MobiPicker, the iOS 9.3.3 will be released in about another week or two, but with the iOS 10 beta 1 download already available for testing, the release date for the former's jailbreak tool might be in jeopardy because there's a possibility of the latter being focused on instead.

In any case, the Chinese group Pangu has sent out invitations for a July 1 event, and a lot of people agree that this event might reveal or even release a jailbreak for the iOS 9.3.2. However, it could be possible that the event will instead discuss possible exploits for the iOS 9.3.3, as well as other security-related topics for this iOS system.

However, it has already been reported that a jailbreak program has already been released for the beta version of iOS 10, so a program for the iOS 9.3.3 might very well be a waste of time in case the iOS 10 gets jailbroken after its official release. It is even said that users should avoid the 9.3.3 because of the above-stated reasons, in addition to the unnecessary risks it imposes, as all jailbreaks do, by stripping down the device's firmware security mechanism.

For now, users who want to try a jailbroken iOS system, the latest is the 9.3.1, which was released a few months ago. There are several iOS 9.3.2 jailbreaking tools online, but these are mostly fake and might even be harmful to devices. As such, it's more important for users to just wait for more stable updates and enjoy what the 9.3.1 tool has to offer. After all, it's impossible to downgrade after upgrading to 9.3.2, so users should always be careful when selecting an upgrade.
