HTC One A9 review: New flagship now up for pre-orders

 HTC website

Tech manufacturer HTC has just officially unveiled its latest flagship. Now, pre-orders have been made live.

In HTC's own online store, the new One A9 is already listed as one of the available flagships by the company. A new unit is listed at around $400 total price. However, the $399.99 price tag is also mentioned as a promotional offer only and will be available for a limited time.

Although HTC did not say when the promo price tag will change, fans can expect that this will be until the supplies for the first batch of pre-order units will be sold. Meanwhile, the retail price of the One A9 will change once it is released to consumer markets.

The online store also listed some options for would-be buyers to choose from. For those who do not have a preferred mobile carrier, an unlocked One A9 is available, which is compatible with both AT&T and T-Mobile networks. Meanwhile, there is also an option for a buyer to choose a mobile carrier-locked device and select their preferred operator – AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint. However, those who are with Verizon but want a One A9 will have to wait until December.

Color options are also available. Fans can choose from Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Garnet Red, and Topaz Gold. Aside from early access to the unit, pre-ordered One A9s will come with a six-month free subscription to the Google Play Music All Access streaming service, as well as one-year free coverage for HTC's Uh-Oh Protection.

Pre-ordered units from the online store will start to be shipped by the first week of November. Meanwhile, HTC also said that those who have pre-ordered the One A9 and had found it wanting for whatever reason may send back the device, provided that the buyer will send the unit back within 30 days.
