Fans of the hit online card game "Hearthstone" are in for a new treat as Blizzard reveals that there will be a new expansion to be released for the game. The newest major expansion — named "Mean Streets of Gadgetzan" — will feature a total of 132 new cards as well as new tri-class cards.

According to Game Rant, BlizzCon has yielded to a lot of good news and updates for fans of the "World of Warcraft" franchise.

However, "Hearthstone" was certainly not neglected as it was revealed that the new massive card expansion focuses on one of the most popular areas in the MMORPG "World of Warcraft." The expansion is set in the desert outpost Gadgetzan, which will feature three major crime syndicate groups: Kabal, Jade Lotus, and the Grimy Goons.

Each syndicate will, of course, correspond to some classes in the game, with the Grimy Goons as a home for Hunters, Paladins, and Warriors. Meanwhile, the Jade Lotus will house Druids, Rogues, and Shamans and the Kabal will take in Mages, Priests, and Warlocks.

BGR reports that the three crime groups specialize in different types of crimes, with the Grimy Goods specializing in weapon smuggling with violent tendencies. The Jade Lotus is more of an assassins' guild that prefers working in the shadows, and the Kabal basically uses magic to cause chaos and control the illegal trading of mana.

The new expansion is also taking a new look at things with the introduction of tri-class cards, with each clan featuring three of these tri-class cards that include one Legendary level card. As the name implies, the tri-class cards can be used by three hero classes which correspond to the crime group they are from.

The 132 cards for the expansion are available as Arena drops, but players can purchase them using gold or real-world money when they are made available on Dec. 31.
